Since we are the "occupying army", doesn't the Geneva Convention give us the right to confiscate any humanitarian supplies within the theatre of war for the benefit of needy civilians? I believe it does.Well, the frogs want to feed the Husseins, the fedayeh, the Republican Guard and the Ba'athists, ya know?

"Rather than pull down statues for the television cameras, the US military would do better to provide security for Baghdad's hospitals," said one French aid worker on condition of anonymity. If we ever find out who said this, I will track him down myself and kick his ass.

The French are going in to destroy documentation. Keep them out.

Iraq has had enough of the French for the last 24 years. Chirac and Sadaam are best friends right. The French endorsed the Sadaam regime and supported it financially. I think the people of Iraq should not welcome them. The French are absolutely disgusting. They will sit on the border with food and let people starve. Self serving pigs. France is so done in my mind. They should pull out of the UN or the U.S. should and then kick it out of the United States.

There must be some other reason they do not want to be supervised and embedded. Don't suppose they have WMD specialists in the group who want to sneak off and remove any incriminating evidence from weapons sites they have the locations for?
Naw, I don't think they would do that. But I would collect their hammers, chisels, hacksaws and spray paint before they crossed the border just to make sure.
To: Risa
Let these French aid workers sit at the border. Won't be long till they'll miss their breakfast, lunch and dinner wine fixes.
They'll get the DT's so bad all figs will drop from Iraqi trees within a fifty-mile radius. They'll need the medical stuff they're bringing in for themselves.

Since the french aid agencies can't follow orders, then send them away. They weren't invited anyway. Or better yet, let them sit in the hot sun until h**l freezes over.

Pluckin' Toilet Truffles. No good right down to the 'aid' organizations. Take the shiite back home to the land of frogs and sit this century out you invertebrate bottom feeders.

I agree. The toilet truffle NGOs, by any other name, are Ba'athist sympathizers and are the enemy, IMO.

They [French aid agencies] have also refused to be "embedded" with US and British troops, alongside reporters covering the war and are insisting on conducting operations with strict impartiality.Does French arrogance and elitism ever cease to amaze?
MEMO TO FRENCH AID WORKERS:
Hop back into your Peugots, stuff your band-aids up your @ss, and get the h*ll out of our faces. YOU ARE I-R-R-E-L-E-V-A-N-T.

So the military should "take it" from the damn French idiots and give it to the good people of Kuwait, who are willing to help their Iraqi brothers.
How many Arabs have to die because of the French?

French aid agencies have teams in Baghdad and convoys waiting at the borders for the go-ahead to move into Iraq, but are refusing to take orders from US and British troops. Then they should be arrested and deported.
To: Risa
I say again, we are in another world war and the French are not on our side.

The french are a hard headed bunch and don't want to play by the rules. We will have to rescue if they screw up and get in trouble.I would tell them play by the rules or go back to france and don't put our people in harms way. 11 posted on 04/12/2003 4:01 PM PDT by solo gringo (Always Ranting Always Rite
