Precisely why we should lean back, put our feet up, hook our thumbs in our vest pockets and quietly let John Kerry hang himself with his own rope and take the fishhook in his mouth and swim with it. He's basically doing this as a calculated gamble to get the Dem nomination, because he knows the people who vote in the Dem primaries are primarily the hard-left, terminal Bush-haters. Then if he gets the nomination, he'll try to swing back to the center. THAT is when we need to go to the mattresses and dig out the soundbytes and snag him with the fishhook.

>>>A March 17 poll by USA Today found that only 20 percent of the American public now thinks of France as an ally, and that 68 percent blame France for the crackup.Senator Kerry agreed with the French. Senator Kerry is on the wrong side of history.

Kerry's defense is that "we should not attack his right to say what he said, nor attack his patriotism". RIGHT - but he sided with Saddam AND must accept the consequences of his statements. No Democrat seems to think they should be personally held accountable for anything, no less what they say. Sic semper Degenerats and adios in the next election!

so often it's said, without any deep consideration of its meaning, that the euros don't hate americans or even american power but only our administration and its policies
somehow, to get the electorate's back up, it must be clear that a vote against bush is a capitulation to the foreign socialist hordes
only fear of isolation could compel americans to join the community of nations as a junior partner on their terms, and that fear has been dispelled by our awesome victory
it will be close, given the economic downcycle congress won't empower bush to lift us out of and our electorate's ignorance of how much worse everyone else's economy is

Bulls**t!
The dems are terrified that a President with convictions will DO what he said he will do and thereby show the American people just how totally devoid of principles the dems and their agenda is.
After all, why would dems be so, so against tax cuts. It seems to me they could say, "OK. We will let the tax cuts go through. After all, when they prove to be the disaster we know them to be, we can always fix the budget when the People of this fine country finally see what blaggards the Republicans are!" If it were true, wouldn't that tactic just about kill the Republican agenda?
But they don't! Why? Because they know the tax cuts will, WILL prove to be a good idea. And they cannot allow that to happen.
So, they MUST block, interfere, obstruct and otherwise be a fly in the soup to the American dream.
When will we all learn?
