My own Uncle Pat was in the Congo on a UN peace keeping mission in the 1960's. I hadn't seen him for a couple of months, but he called and visited recently..I asked him (In view of his UN service) what he thought of the action against Iraq.
He said..'I'm all for it. No point in pussy-footing around bastards like Saddam Hussein'.
That's about the way my Uncle saw it. I went down to SC to visit with him when he was ill about a year before he passed on. I brought him a hat from President Bush's inaugaration and he wore it until the day he died. When he passed on my Aunt gave the hat to Brian because as my Aunt said, Brian is like you John and your Uncle Jimmy, he's a conservative. :-}
