Tell me - have you ever actually looked at the code or are you just parroting what some tax site told you? Don't bother, I know the answer. But if you really want to find out, read Section 1 of the Internal Revenue Code.
The whole "voluntary" system garbage is a straw man. We have "voluntary" compliance (that is, you get to tell the IRS how much you calculate to owe), not voluntary participation (you get to decide whether to participate).
By the way, I have read the tax code and I have looked into whether the 16th Amendment (not the "Income tax law") was illegally ratified. The tax code is real and the 16th Amendment is in force. If you don't believe me, walk into an IRS office and prove me wrong.

Also, please state for the record the Statute that says you have to pay taxes?

If you don't believe me, walk into an IRS office and prove me wrong That's like walking in to a cult and asking them if thier way is the truth. The government is relying on an uneducated populace to take advantage of the system. According to the title code 26 Americans working overseas are required to report wages and pay taxes on that revenue, but the opposite is done. oh, I read the title code, good bedtime reading and a serious insomniac remedy. It's written that way for a purpose, to confuse the populace, hell, it confuses our legislature right now.

Woman who hasn't eaten in 3 weeks recontacts elected officialsTwo years ago, at the request of We the People, IRS and Justice Department officials agreed to meet with WTP leader Bob Schulz to answer his questions after he went on a 20-day hunger strike. Government officials later reneged, and We the People held its own congressional-hearing style forum in Washington, D.C. At the event, several expert tax attorneys and former IRS officials testified that the income tax system is fraudulent and that most Americans are not legally required to pay. It was the record of that forum that accompanied the petition delivered to Congress
