It does seem that these statutory rape cases in which the accused party is female are becoming more common. I wonder why that is.

All part of the "empowerment" of women + "do me" Feminism. Or to put it succintly:

"Statutory Rape! It's not just for loser 20-40 year old men anymore!"

It's probably a fact of American life in the Age of Clinton. As women gain more "equality," they want to press the limit (and the flesh) as far as they can too!
