Canada needs a regime change. Indeed we do. In conversation with my conservative friends months ago, we were lamenting the fact that the old b*stard was planning on staying on, rather then retiring. I suggested that it could be a good thing, because he's senile and he'll end up turning off Liberal voters. Unfortunately, that has indeed come true, only at the expense of also pissing of Americans to the point that our relationship is suffering. Our government is in for a big surprise come the next election I think.

Our government is in for a big surprise come the next election I think. I sure do hope so! I agree totally on the picture Jonah used. It's a shame to insult the very people who are probably on our side.
I spent 8 long, awful years being completely misrepresented by the Scumbag, and I have great sympathy for the many, many Canadians who feel the same under Johnny Cretin. We've always been friends. We should remain so and let the Quebecois or whatever they call themselves pound sand.

Exactly. The Mounties aren't wimps. (Neither are the armed forces. Ill-equipped, yes. Wimpy, no. Remember that sniper in Afghanistan.) But it doesn't help sell magazines to put a picture of Chretien and three bureaucrats on the cover and call them wimps. That would be like putting four chickens on the cover and calling them chickens.
