Tim Robbins and Susan Saradon were not educated enough to speak out on what this issue and they know it now! I'm going to point out that Bull Durham didn't "need" Sarandon or Roberts. Anybody else could have done it. it was Costner's movie, and to pretend that those two dimbulbs made it what it was is a crock. Nobody does slacker sports better than Costner - his greatest moment to shine was "Tin Cup", the funniest golf movie of all time.

First off, I love the Bull Durham movie, but I don't agree with Robbins political views. Petrosky could have handled it much differently and asked Robbins not to make it political. In light of the success of the war, most of the protesters have given up their protests. It could have been a nice celebration of America's pastime, baseball.
