Tim Robbins should speak out. But it is his responsibility to learn about the issues, become educated on what they are talking about too. It is one thing to admit you are stupid and made a mistake based on that stupidity, but to now say the Iraq War is still wrong after fearing about torture not reported by CNN!
President Bush finally stood up to this terrible Tyrant Sadamm.
Any Artists now supporting such Free Speech Of Ignorance is not reflecting on their own choice of sponsorships. And every contract has a clause that lets a Company or Organization to remove itself without damages should such Artists cause such damaging public images to themselves or their sponsor!
A Democracy Cannot Function Unless It Has A Well-Educated Electorate!
Tim Robbins and Susan Saradon were not educated enough to speak out on what this issue and they know it now! Rather admit they are wrong, they choose to remain stupid and attack anyone who labels them as such. The only problem with their status now is that Truth is a Complete Defense to Defamation of Characters.
Tim and Susan just don't look stupid today but are remain stupid of their own, by their own and for their own choice.
If they want to make amends go to CUBA today and condemn Castro for torturing critics!

"I donated the uniform I wore to the hall," Robbins said. "Man, what an honor that was. Now I just hope it's there the next time I get back."
You took the tax-write-off. It's not your any more.

From a related thread:
According to AP, Robbins reportedly told Lloyd Grove, "If you ever write about my family again, I will (bleeping) find you and I will (bleeping) hurt you."
Sounds like a true pacifist to me. /sarcasm

I'm going to point out that Bull Durham didn't "need" Sarandon or Roberts. Anybody else could have done it. it was Costner's movie, and to pretend that those two dimbulbs made it what it was is a crock. Nobody does slacker sports better than Costner - his greatest moment to shine was "Tin Cup", the funniest golf movie of all time.

"I wasn't even planning to wear makeup, Sarandon said.
Now we know the real reason it was cancelled.

To quote Tom Hanks as the coach in the movie, A League of Their Own, "there's no crying in baseball!" Butch up, little Timmy Robbins.

First off, I love the Bull Durham movie, but I don't agree with Robbins political views. Petrosky could have handled it much differently and asked Robbins not to make it political. In light of the success of the war, most of the protesters have given up their protests. It could have been a nice celebration of America's pastime, baseball.
