What do they do with the pilots at this stage of a war in regard to resupplying them with an aircraft?
If it was only grounded due to the extent of damage, do the pilots recieve another aircraft, or are they more or less done for the duration of the conflict?

I just received a set of photos of the shot up warthog in question. It was shot up like crazy, chunks missing from it. Miraculous. Wish I could post it.

Sounds like it was downed or damaged by a "FRENCH" missle (Roland)...fired by an Iraqi -

The second A-10 that made it back to base had a female pilot (call sign KC - for Killer Chick) and she said that she had already flown two other missions since her Warthog had been hit (saw the interview yesterday morning). She seemed cool as the other side of the pillow. And she was extremely easy on the eyes as well.

Here is an image of the A-10 pilot that ejected and was rescued.

The set of pics I have shows the female pilot of the plane that made it back all shot up. Unharmed it appeared, depite the brutal beating her plan had sustained.

The A-10 is just the coolest attack asset.
Shiver to think about being on the receiving end of it's rotary canon.

Mind sharing?

I can't they came in an e-mail attachment as a powerpoint presentation, several pics. If they were jpgs that I could put online somehow, I would. If someone knows another way to put them up, let me know.
To: Publius6961
By the way, its a powerpoint presentation, one of those "open it and it just steps through the pitch" things, not a collection of slides I can edit. So I cant even get to the original pictures inside it. I'll take any advice on how to get them out to the community.

Well, we can Freepmail you our email addresses.
Clunky, but effective.

What do they do with the pilots at this stage of a war in regard to resupplying them with an aircraft? I heard an interview with the lady pilot of the A-10 that was able to return to its home base in Kuwait. She was immediatley debriefed and had recieved a new mission and jet to fly..she was scheduled to fly that night.

And she was extremely easy on the eyes as well.Anyone got pictures?
