I heard a guy on a sports show on the radio the other day named Morris Engelberg, who was Joe DiMaggio's longtime associate and has just written a book about Joe. He cited about three or four occasions at various events where Bubba tried his darndest to weasel his way in to meet Joe, I guess for photo op purposes, but Joe absolutely refused because he thought Clinton was a snake-oil salesman who'd hoodwinked the country and was immoral.

Sounds like the book should be a good read.
For as liberal as this state is, at least our athletes seem to have it together politically. Bobby had a huge rally with almost every major athlete in attendance en route to defeating KKT. I'm sure you knew that though.
BTW, Michael Steele is appearing at Ropewalk Tavern in Federal Hill tonight for the Young Republicans recruitment drive. I don't know how old you are but its $25 a head and starts at 7.
