To be honest I did not kow that is what you were asking-I thought you had questions in regards to the history of the matter.

On a theological basis?

A) Yes, they are the same by and large based on the DNA testing as for being God's Chosen people the answer is no to a Christian because the resurrection of Christ sealed a new covenant (Muslims think this too as far as I can tell). To Jews of course that point is moot.

B) Again, if you are a Christian the answer is that the old covenant no longer exists. Also as a secularist the Jewish people have a right to private property but just because an individual owns land it does not imply Israeli sovereignty follows him.

"Again, if you are a Christian the answer is that the old covenant no longer exists"

This is the old lie which caused two thousand years of vicious anti-Semitism and which culminated in the Holocaust.

As far as I have understood this is no longer accepted theology by the main churches including Rome. I certainly hope so; you have done more than enough damage to the Jewish people.

And, as usual, you have all totally misrepresented the meaning of "chosen." It's chosen as in "light unto nations" and not the Jews have special privileges. And we Jews believe that there are many routes to G-d, unlike numerous other bigots I could name.
