There will be more resistance in Tikrit (he says hopefully)Gung ho fighters..took flag down..forgivable but bad in arab world.(Thank God he didn't carry on about that )
I'm still hopeful about Tikrit. If the forces arrayed against us there are all Iraqi, I think they'll fold and go home to get a squeeze.
OTOH, if a lot of the AlQ types from peaceful Saudi Arabia, ally Jordan, peaceful Syria, peaceful Iran, ally Pakistan, ally Yemen, etc. got through our "cordon" around Baghdad and the "sealed" border with our friends in Syria, it may be nasty for a few days.
