I'm sorry, but you have to want freedom first. Only time will tell, but I'm not convinced this is going to work out like we hope. The only reason we live in a free nation is because men before us fought and died for it, I just don't see that kin of conviction in the Persian Gulf. Freedom and democracy are great, I'm just not sure it will work everywhere.

I believe it is.

Look at all the Iraqis and Iranians and others that live here in the US. They left a long time ago and tell horrible stories.

Many are successful here and have relatives back there.

Just give them a chance and the security and I think it will change...slowly, but it will. They can't hide in the 13th century forever.
