I caught the anthem for the Vancover/St Louis game during the OT Wings intermission. To their credit, about 1/3 of the Canuck fans cheers the Star Spangled banner, and the rest remained respectful.
It's a Quebecker thing, not a Anglo-Canadian thing.

Any hockey fan will tell you...Cherry has always been blunt, to the point and tells it like it is. He is a terrific announcer.
