My guess is the Republican's strongest candidate is Charlie Bronson, the Commissioner of Agriculture. ...
First of all, I thought Charlie Bronson was a Democrat -- not a Republican. Are you sure he's a Republican??? Because I am sure he is a Democrat.

Charlie Bronson is a former State Senator from Brevard County. He is currently Commissioner of Agriculture and was elected with 57.8% (the best vote of any statewide candidate) of the vote in 2002. He is a fifth generation Floridian and definitely a conservative Republican.

Bronson's a Republican but he's a rancher. He'd probably rather be the dept. of aggy than switch to Lt. Gov. He fits the job that he's already in. Further, I think Charlie Crist is dedicated to law enforcement and thrown himself into that position for now. He's goal oriented and he's serious about issues ranging from elder abuse and the big one, terrorism.
I think they don't want to attack Toni Jennings because she's female and they'd rather keep Jeb as the "devious one". They're still trying to make that work for them but it is just funny. ha, ha...
