A newly free Iraqi TV telecast a pre-recorded message to the Iraqi people from President Bush and Prime Minister Tony Blair today in which both leaders assured the audience that ending Saddam's brutal regime was the purpose of the war. Bush also told the Iraqi people, "The United States and its coalition partners respect the people of Iraq. We are taking unprecedented measures to spare the lives of innocent Iraqi citizens, and are beginning to deliver food, water and medicine to those in need. Our only enemy is Saddam’s brutal regime – and that regime is your enemy as well." The President met today with leaders of Central American nations to discuss a free trade pact between the US and five Central American countries. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I am so glad that President Bush has finally had some glory and gratification-- and pure joy-- in his presidency. It's about time doing something right pays him back.

I think it is so cool that the first baby born "free" in Baghdad was named George. The only thing better would've been Dubya.

Yep you sure did. Vcitory Blue!

I wonder if the people of Iraq will celebrate an annual event on April 9th like we do for the 4th of July or Mexico on Cinco de Mayo?

Gotta love him! Evening, all. Just a drive by to say hi. I'm knee deep in packing to move, but had to take a peek at W's pictures. I am SO proud of him!

I am so proud of him. Just imagine what he's been through these last months and yet he held firm.

You know, I just looked back through the pictures in the past few weeks, and it's downright amazing how strong and at peace he looks considering the enormous strain on him.

I can only attribute that to the prayers of God's people for him.

We can't let down now!

HEY.....first baby in free Iraq named GEORGE! Ya gotta love it!!

Good evening! Looking forward as usual, to this evening's Dose.

I have read several books about Subject #1 in the past few weeks: Bush at War, Fighting Back etc.

I recommend to all you BushBots, George and Laura: Portrait of an American Marriage by Christopher Andersen.

It is chock-full of interesting personal tidbits about both of them that I had not seen or heard about before. Delightful!

I urge you to pick up a copy (found mine at the library) first chance you get!
