What does Syria have that we want? Or what does invading Syria accomplish that we want? There has to be some reason that the American people will accept. Other than considering Asad a very, very dangerous man, I don't know that much about Syria itself.

Syria harbors and supoorts the Hezbollah terrorists. Syria is an occupying power in Lebonan and has kept the Hezbollah from doing something too stupid to Israel, because IF hezbollah goes after Israel from Lebonan, then Israel goes right after Syria - with weapons they might not like. Israel fights for their existance - and we do support that. Syria is probably harboring the scud missles that Iraq Still had, and those 18-wheelers that went into syria from Iraq a week or two before the war were probably drums and drums of chemical agents, to be used by terrorists. We need to take Syria as a serious danger.
