[history]
It didn't matter what you put in Robert A. Monaco's hands -- a canoe paddle, a garden shovel, or the controls of a King Air B200 twin-engine airplane. So long as it kept him busy, he was at his happiest, friends and family said.

This was my cousin Bobby. He was the pilot of a Beechcraft Twin-Engine passenger plane that crashed last Friday. Many of you responded with kind comments and prayers when the story originally ran last week about the tragic crash, killing six out of seven aboard. Only Tora Fisher, a thirteen-year-old girl, survived. Her father and step-mother were among those that perished. She was released from the hospital earlier this week and returned home to New York to be with family.
I wanted you all to know a little more about my cousin Bobby. We were close as children....I wish we had been closer as adults. May Bobby rest in peace.

I lost a cousin who was killed in a crash while in the Navy. I still miss him and think of him. He was married only 18 months earlier. He was one of those kids who had gotten his pilots license before he got his drivers license.
To: dansangel
I was just wondering about you, dansangel, and your family....thanks for your ping....I will continue praying for all of you.

Thanks for the ping angel. My prayers for you and your cousin. I hope you are doing alright after this.
Note to FR: Some threads should not have the commercial attached, it's a bit tacky on this one.

Thank you, dansangel, for bringing us here to read about your cousin, Bobby, and appreciate who and what he was.
He sounds like the kind of cousin we all wish we had - patriotic, talented, capable, and full of life and joy, able to impart that to others.
My sincere condolences to his parents and to you, knowing how greatly he will be missed.
May the Holy Spirit bring you His comfort.

Sadness for you and your family. What a great tribute to your cousin Bobby. Sounds like Bobby added a lot of love and fun to so many, and I know he will be greatly missed. He will now be sharing his love and fun nature with his brother Billy and others in Heaven. Loved the color Bobby wanted his house painted, good old red white and blue.
God Bless Bobby, his family and friends
Rest In Peace Bobby

God Bless you all. They've started a high school scholarship fund for the helicoptor pilot from my home town who died in the war. It never felt so good to write a big fat check.
To: dansangel
Thank you, Dansy - what a nice remembrance this is. You know you, and his parents are still in our thoughts. Love you, Sistah.
