"The Smurfs lived in a commune, much like how many journalists wish the world would be. I'm trying to point out the hard left twist at the end of this article. It doesn't belong there.
"

Horse-puckey. I'm proud of the Lynches for donating blood to help the soldiers in that hospital. The journalist mentioned it in the story. I'll bet a lot of people saw that and said, "Yeah! Good for them."

You just had to stick your little interpretation in there, didn't you. It's almost as if you think that donating blood is a "liberal" thing to do. Well, dude, it's not. It's a decent thing to do. It's a think that people of all types do.

Our soldiers depend on it. Victims of accidents depend on it. Conservatives and liberals alike depend on donated blood. For you to belittle either the Lynches for doing it or the journalist for pointing out that the Lynches were not just thinking about their own daughter but also the other soldiers in the hospital is just small of you.

As I said, grow up. Even better, drive down to your local blood bank and donate a pint. Who knows, you could save a life. Or, forget about it. There are plenty of good folks, conservatives, liberals, and people who could care less about politics donating. It'd be nice if you did, but it's not critical.

It's nice the Lynches took the time to donate their blood. Lots of injured soldiers there at that hospital.

Find another game to play, OK?

I agree with you! I didn't mean to press your blood donation button. My pressed button is that a journalist would never end an article with "The parents plan to donate to the Republican Party", or "they plan to donate to the Church". If the news article had something remotely to do with blood donation, was about low blood supplies or a blood drive going on, ok. Maybe if the journalist said Jessica needed a lot of blood transfusions then it would have fit.
