Would you rather have a nuke go off in NYC or have a ebola pandemic kill 200 million Americans? I was trying to say that the potential terrorist uses of biological weapons have the potential to kill alot more people than several pounds of illegal U or Pu.

Following the succession of posts, your remarks were offered to smith288 in post #6 who was concerned with the situation in Iraq. The situation there is what my remarks are confined to. The general topic of bioterror is something else again.
I fully agree that biowarfare is dangerous as hell (according to the Russians, SARS may be man-made and it's here in the US now). Even so, there are barriers, time elements, geographic boundaries and prophylactic measures. With strategic nukes, anyone in the kill radius gets flash fried or blenderized by projectile velocity debris. No chance for protective measures, warnings or decontamination.
In any event, dealing with the terror threat is a one nation and leader at a time proposition. I guess I could worry about an asteroid hit too, but that is beside the point.
