Israeli helicopter strike kills Islamic Jihad activist (terrorist) in Gaza
An activist of Islamic Jihad was killed when Israeli helicopters fired several missiles at his vehicle in the centre of Gaza City, a fellow member of the radical group told AFP.
Mohammed al-Hindi named the dead man on Thursday as Mohammed al-Zatma, a local leader of the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, whose car was hit by two missiles in Al-Nasser, in the north of the city, and totally destroyed.
Twelve Palestinians, including three children, who were in the vicinity were injured, hospital sources said.
Four helicopters were said to have participated in the attack.
On Tuesday, a military leader of Hamas was killed in a similar Israeli airstrike which also killed six other Palestinians.

Helicopter strikes are dangerous. All too often the picket signs are struck by the rotating blades......
