Well, since one reinforced Army division, 3 (?) Marine regiments, and unlimited USAF and Navy aviation took Iraq, why not Syria?
4ID has nothing to do. Why not send them across the desert and take down Syria?

4ID has nothing to do. Why not send them across the desert and take down Syria? Latest Reports have them slated to take Tikrit, Saddam's home town, and aparently made up mostly of his cousins and other family members.

And we also have these spare MOAB-s handy, which they don't think will need in Iraq. It would be a shame to carry them all back unused.
