I'll bet Kris Kristofferson was biting his tongue, inless he has done a 180. He is a huge liberal. He's not only a leftist; he's also a Rhodes scholar just like Xlinton.

Man, Hillary's never looked so good!LOL! Wait a minute-what did Willie do to deserve that insult?

Good to hear. If I got HBO, I might watch. Willie is underrated as a musician by many people. Upon seeing this article I cued up my MP3s of Willie's "Milk Cow Blues" CD. I think he's a better bluesman than most :-).

It was about a guy with a speech impediment who was in a store to buy some nuts. After he finds out the Cashews and Pistacios are WAY too expensive, he settles on some ordinary peanuts. As the clerk is ringing up the sale the fellow thanks him for not making fun of his speech impediment. The clerk responds that he knows what it is to be self-conscious because, as the fellow could see, he had a very large nose. So it would be improper to make fun of someone's speech impediment.
The fellow with the speech impediment says, "Your nose? That's your NOSE? I thought it was your d*** cause your nuts are so high!"

I've told that in mixed company. Most women seem to enjoy that joke for some reason. It's the speech impediment that's hard to get down. Maybe they just laugh at the way I try to tell it.

No! No! The booers were being booed themselves, see, that's why it sounded so loud.

I couldn't agree more.
My three "Willie Nelson" CD's just hit the trash can.
It's gotta end somewhere.

I know, I felt funny posting that comment, but I couldn't pass it up. I like Willie's music, even though he is a little rough around the edges. He's an American musical legend...

First, Hillary Rotten Booed at the MSG Show for the Firefighters, (and he was backstage there, hearing all those Boos) now The Skunk gets ( by way of the peoples action) Freeped at a concert when he walks onstage. Things like this really make my day, and surely bring a piece of reality to that "netherworld of nothingness" that he and his brain reside in on a daily basis. Imagine, he had to walk off stage eventually, to the backstage area. I wonder what he did then? LMAO!!!

Guy loses his passport and is going through customs. The agent demands some proof oh his American citizenship, so the guy drops his pants, bends over and says: "Do you see that? Only an American would have the Statue of Liberty tatooed on one cheek and the Liberty Bell on the other!"
The customs agent looks close and says: "I guess you're right. You just go ahead home to Texas." The guy asks, "How'd you know I was from Texas?" "That's easy," answers the agent. "From the picture of Willy Nelson in the middle." (Old joke, but topical.)

NEW YORK Former President Bill Clinton was booed Wednesday night when he took the stage at the Beacon Theater at the start of a Willie Nelson concert.
"The place went wild when [Clinton] was announced," said our spy. "There was loud booing and yelling."
Clinton "seemed angered" and made a comment about "angry Republicans," which stirred the crowd on more.
"There was so much anti-Clinton booing and yelling that when Willie came back out, he asked if everyone was all right ... the concert was taped for a Memorial Day showing on the USA network, but even with serious editing, it will be hard to use the Clinton part at all."
A Clinton aide acknowledged some booing, but added: "There was so much applauding that he had to quiet them down so he could introduce Willie. [Clinton] was not upset at all. They gave him quite a rousing ovation and he was mobbed by all the talent. He had just flown in from Mexico and went straight to the event."
Musicians Lyle Lovett, Sheryl Crow, John Mellencamp, Kris Kristofferson, Kenny Chesney, Elvis Costello and Norah Jones were also there to wish Nelson a happy 70th birthday.

Im watching a re-run of this now. Great concert. But I did notice that John Mellancamp was not allowed to sing his patroitic song "Proud to Be An American".
Also, I noticed Willie Nelson said something very strange on stage to former President Clinton. It was this:
"That was you and me on the roof, right." That is an exact quote.
What the heck was that about?
To: AGreatPer
"That was you and me on the roof, right." That is an exact quote. He said that previously, also. Referring to Carter Administration. He says he was on the roof of the White House smoking a joint and then more recently, he was in a crowd with Klinton and made that remark and Klinton backed away quickly.
