JFK jr. was a so so VFR pilot flying an airplane that was much too sophisticated for his piloting skills. He flew into a late summer haze at evening, lost his visual reference, couldn't coordinate the gauges, and spun in to the Atlantic.

The most murderous words in flying are "Heck, let's go anyway, I bet we can make it."

...I grant you your Right to believe whatever you are told about about the sudden death of JFK jr in the same area that TWA Flight 800 went down.
