For the Shiites, murdering that Cleric is like murdering President Bush for us. How utterly, utterly tragic. After he had successfully hid out for 12 years. And sadly, WE were involved in bringing him back in to help us keep the peach. Then we didn't protect him?? I would hate to be the commander of the unit that dropped the ball on that one. I am not kidding when I say I am deeply saddened.

If he was killed in a mosque, that would be understandable. Only Muslims are allowed in Mosques for the most part.

Every step we've taken closer to freeing the Iraqi people we've met setbacks and overcome them and will again. The Iraqi people know that our guys are dying to free them.
