We Boycott.

Here's what I see at the movies: commercials before the movie starts, theaters the size of screening rooms, actors who spit in the face of America and Americans.
I'm not going to give money to these actor assholes who are the forefront of the hate America first crowd.
There may be a few good movies out there starring actors who don't hate America. Very few. It's just not worth the time to sort out the good ones from the bad ones.
Since when is hollywoood the bully pulpit for Americans? Hollywood represents what actors are and have been throughout history: loose morals, drifters and degenerates. Throughout history nobody ever paid them any mind. Why now should they gain a bully pulpit in the media?
Actors, and hollywood are nothing without media face time. Quit going to their movies and they will dry up and blow away like ten year old birdshit.

I am onboard for boycotting H-wood. But boycotting an epic war story because of one actor in the Company of Nine with many, many players just seems excessive.
Some Egyptian was saying that the war in Iraq will have created a 1000 Bin Ladens. Big deal - if we by victory we create a even a hundred thousand Jeffersons, but maybe millions. The one cent that you spend on this movie that may go to this actor from the percentage-share proportion of his compensation, which conceivably could be used to sponsor ANSWER, (but probably won't, because they will become awkward and obsolete - like a Donny and Marie album), won't matter as much to America as much as the heartwarming story of courageous people becoming resolute and fighting for honor and civility. Tolkien reinforces the same instincts that make you cheer for the celebrations in Iraq. And I have seen so many people reading this, READING!

That was largely the reason I saw the first installment: I thought the story worked well against the backdrop of 9/11. And yes, I have seen people reading Tolkien in the past few years who have seldom read before. You make some good points, but the Hollywood jerkoffs still make me angry. I'll wait a while before giving them anything.

Okay I can respect that. I still haven't seen Pearl Harbor because one of those Baldwin jerks was in it - so who am I to criticize? But Tolkien: I re-read the trilogy once as a young guy, and twice more to each of my sons. I just think he should get a millenial boycott pass. Even Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet can be turned into a West Side Sorry musical by lesser wankers - but that shouldn't reflect on BillyShakes story.

time to check out DVD's or Videos of: ..."WE WERE SOLDIERS"... ummmm, SORRY, Look in the bottom right corner of the movie poster:
"PARAMOUNT" - owned by VIACOM
- piggy-bank to the Clintons
- employer to Bill Clinton
- quid-pro-quo to Hillary
- soapbox to the liberal scum
- erasing the BOO's of Hillary on the VH1 video
I Think I'll wait till it comes out on free TV. thanks

I did not see The Two Towers due to the anti-war comments of the guy playing Aragorn.Yeah, but Sean Astin (who plays Samwise Gamgee) is staunchly pro-USA, as is John Rhys Davies (who plays Gimli the Dwarf). They cancel Viggo Mortensen and Andy Serkis out! :)

Dear Bommer: I can understand your incredulity with respect to MOTOWN RECORDS. Personally, I am busy jumping up and down on my Bo Diddly collection. BOYCOTT what you feel comfortable doing. If you think Americans will be hurt worse than BOYCOTTING an item marked MADE IN FRANCE or PRODUCT OF FRANCE, then follow your conscience. If you wish to check if an entity is owned by a gooey cheese froag eater, then snail on over to
BUSINESS COM and check the entitiy out. GOD BLESS AMERICA
