That picture of Saddam's statue being towed along the street reminds me of the photos taken after we lost those soldiers in Somalia. Too bad it's only a statue... I wonder if the symbolism has made an impression on that Columbia University professor.

I wonder if the symbolism has made an impression on that Columbia University professor.

I imagine only a handful of people weren't impressed today. Also I think interesting times have only just begun. With hopes I'm not too terribly optimistic, this could mean a world of change for the good.
