I came home hoping to link you to the article on www.ew.com, but it seems only subscribers (and AOL users) can access it. If anyone is an AOL user, and you go to key words "entertainment weekly" and then search their site under Springsteen, you can find it.

Hero?! When did I ever say BRUUUUCE was my "hero"? Fact is, I respect the way his lyrics and music interact to evoke a visceral emotional reaction from the listener, and he puts on an excellent concert. It is disappointing to hear evidence--yes, I'd like to see that link as I am sure not about to buy a copy of EW--that Springsteen's so clueless in his political philosophy, but I am also diametrically-opposed to the lion's share of Dylan's politics, too, and that makes him that much more fun to FReep in some ways.
