Mud....(and all)
I took my daughter to get some blood work this morning, and while I was waiting I picked up the February 28 copy of Entertainment Weekly, Springsteen was on the cover. They had an in depth interview with him inside. tsk tsk tsk....I am shocked....did you know Springsteen "loaths" GW??? He was more "p.c." about the way he said it (probably fears a backlash) but echoed the same anti-war sentiments as the rest of the Hollyweird Elite.

I came home hoping to link you to the article on www.ew.com, but it seems only subscribers (and AOL users) can access it. If anyone is an AOL user, and you go to key words "entertainment weekly" and then search their site under Springsteen, you can find it.

Anyhow....just thought you might want to see what your "hero" is saying about politics, our president & the war.

"what your "hero" is saying about politics"

Hero?! When did I ever say BRUUUUCE was my "hero"? Fact is, I respect the way his lyrics and music interact to evoke a visceral emotional reaction from the listener, and he puts on an excellent concert. It is disappointing to hear evidence--yes, I'd like to see that link as I am sure not about to buy a copy of EW--that Springsteen's so clueless in his political philosophy, but I am also diametrically-opposed to the lion's share of Dylan's politics, too, and that makes him that much more fun to FReep in some ways.
