Landru: They go after the punk, say, within the next year beginning today...Tuesday August 13th, 2002? "I'll FedEx ya a case of Hienekens, a case of Milwaukee's finest bratwursts (fresh from the elfs at Usinger's ~you'll have to supply your own buns & condiments...), & a box of Garcia & Vegas' best."

Slim: Yer on, my FRiend...beer, brats and stoagies will provide much motivation fer the late night FReepin' excapades!!

Landru: "If they *don't*?? I'd like to know what I'll be getting from the Mud Cave out there in ol' Virginny?"

Slim: Hmmmm...on the unlikely chance that our efforts fail, I'll gladly send you a case of Legends Ale (good stuff from the local microbrewery), a big ol' Smithfield Ham, and a box of Macanudos.

The Status:

Today, April 14, 2003, is the eight-month anniversary of this much-watched wager from Black IX. As the appointed judge, I, the fair and unbalanced Sultan, do hereby report that on Day 241 of this year-long wager, Terry McAuliffe has not been indicted. Therefore, Landru is still winning. (unfortunately).

Mudboy Slim may want to consider throwin' in the towel!

wow, serious stuff. but how can Landru throw in the towel if he's not in the ring? Can't he get disqualified if he's quite FR?

Mudboy, basically, it's time for you to start thinking of "legal loopholes" such as the above.
