Yes, I own the place...err, the bank does and I pay them for the use of it and the equity there in. Personal tastes are a *vanity* factor (hahahaha) and so, I will buy the bulbs...for now....I am rather creative...perhaps I can come up with a way to dress them up....a nice piece of cherrywood and a router might do wonders :o)

The very idea of a tax on one's property is anathema to all that this nation was founded on.
...and it's irrelevant as to whether that property is your's, or the lending institution's. It damn sure doesn't belong to the gov.'t, or it's assemblies of minutiae men, & women, in local, state, & federal bodies.

And while we're at it, let's talk about inheritence tax....talk about double taxation...someone's parents (or family, whoever) paid tax on every dime they made and saved, yet when they die the person they leave it to has to pay taxes on what they worked so hard (and already paid taxes on) to leave them???? That is the grossest case of double taxation EVER. :o)

Granted Gilmore was not the best Governor the Commonwealth ever had; granted he was a big spender who never met an appropriation bill he didn't like; and granted he may have had some marital problems. But if he bad-mouthed my hero, Ronald Reagan, then his photo is coming *off* my wall!!
