You know, as much as I cringe when there are women on the front lines, or even near the front lines, photo's like that get me thinking of the influence of those women on the Muslim world that sees them.
Muslims believe that women are weak and should be treated like possessions. Some believe they should be treated like treasured possessions, but most just believe they are property like livestock.
When they see our women with weapons, treated as equal with our men, and then they see what damage we can bring to bear it must be overwhelming. Look at not just the Don Juan in that photo, but at the other men in that photo. It looks to me like a lot of them really can't believe she is a woman, and a young one at that. How scared they must get when they consider that we have sent our young women over there to fight them, and we have kicked their butts while doing so.
Our young, pretty girls have kicked the butts of the most vaunted army in the Muslim world. That must give them great concern when they consider it.

Jong il enjoys watching CNN quite a bit. It is about 10 p.m. in Pyongyang Wednesday night right now. I hope he is watching. He has so many similiar statues of his father and himself all around totalitarian North Korea.
Amen.

Why do I have such a warm fuzzy feeling inside at that thought?
So long, Saddam. Give my regards to Hitlet, Stalin, Yamamoto, and the rest of your heroes.

Thank you for the link. I had a hard time leaving for work this morning because I couldn't leave the TV. I remember being in Ukraine 12 years ago. I still saw statues of Lenin and of missles and tanks. It was an erie experience. I can only imagine how the Iraqis must feel to see these statues and other tributes to Sodamn come down.
