I am so very happy for every Iraqi man, woman and child who has been brutalized by the Saddam regime. Today is there independence day! Let them always be free and let them never forget the Americans, Brits and Aussies who are helping in liberating them. Yes, more problems ahead, no doubt more will die after today but today is truly the day one can point to in Iraq when saying Sadam is gone. Today is their day and may they have many, many more good days!

So true! It's not as emotional for us as the Berlin Wall being torn down, but for it may be for them. 30 years of oppression gone being destroyed with statues of their 'Great Leader'.
