I cried for the enemy in combat, but I think this limited, temporary punishment is funny. This is much more merciful than she deserves. I would have shot with the wooden bullet, chuckled while cuffing her, and offered a band-aid before hauling the trash out !

Inflicting pain on anyone and taking pleasure in it is sadistic. Now that doesn't mean sadism is always bad. After getting your company half annihilated at Iwo Jima and then taking pleasure in killing Japanese soldiers is understandable and even Human. But to laugh and chuckle at some dopey woman protestor who got whoppled in the chin and is in pain- is a little over the top in my view. They are not worth the emotional effort "sadism" requires and if you feel it so easily then- I would try to find some inner peace.

Was she peaceably protesting or was she throwing rocks at the cops? Once they turn violent, then all bets are off. I refuse to believe that the cops would just shoot at someone peaceably protesting. Man, don't they use tear gas anymore?

I sure hope they took her to the hospital before jail.

Is that a tattoo on the side of her nose or is it a piercing? I wonder if she has a broken jaw or worse as well.
