I'm all for giving them a trial. The problem is they don't get charged with ANYTHING. They're given a couple of hours in the local jail which is like a badge of honor to them and they don't bear the consequences of their anti-American hooliganism. Who pays for their partying against America? Why, the rest of us. Its they who need to scurry off and be told the free ride is over.

Well- on that we agree. "Civil Disobediance" is a cottage industry and is not punished. It should be. This ain't the civil right movement (and give them credit- they got jail time of several months for protesting segregation back in the day.) But ever since "protesting" has been treated as a joke by the courts. As long as tresspassing, vandalism, blocking roadways, and even assaulting police are treated with kid gloves by most state prosecutors because they are done in a "protest" (usually of the left wing kind) in this country- then we will always have this stuff. The law should be enforced and appropriate but not merely token penalties should be applied.

Actually it's worse than that. They rarely even step foot in jail. They are simply picked up and "arrested" for the camera, and then released. They aren't even processed in the police station nonetheless prosecuted for sedition.
