The people see the only government official state that no troops are there. Reality is setting into Baghdad and into the Middle East. Whether they like it or not, truth is spitting in the face of what he is/was saying.

The United States government wants the press there. The press is a massive tool, and it's being used to our advantage. And like I mentioned earlier, if the government wanted him off the air, he would have been off the air a long time ago. The more he talks, the more people realize that the regime is full of lies. And if they are full of lies regarding this, has the entire regime been lying to them over the last 25 years?

Take a look at night before last. Baghdad Bob was on the air live outside talking. Our troops were about a block away watching him on the tv. THey were laughing about it. They could have easily killed him. They could have fired a shot in the direction to scare him. But they let him speak.

The same went on in WW2. When troops were rolling into Berlin, the government still was on the radio saying that they were winning and all sorts of false information. At that point the people start losing faith in the government. The same is happening here.

In these situations, reality doesn't hit until the tanks start rolling in.

Maybe some good can come out of this for the media, after all, the definition of a conservative is a liberal who got mugged last night.
