I want to revive this excellent quote this morning, from Brit Hume, in response to a correspondent who suggested the fall of Baghdad would turn attention to the Palestinian problem:
BRIT HUME: "I do not believe those Iraqi citizens were dancing on that statue because they suddenly have renewed hope about a resolution to the Palestinian problem."
THAT'S GOLD! Thank God for Brit Hume.
Wasn't that wonderful?! He also wondered what Chirac, Schroeder and Putin were saying while watching the Iraqi people tear down that statue of the MONSTER. You KNOW they were watching.
