You know, I've been working on a web site that catalogs pre-war predictions by leftists and then squares them with reality. It's been rather fun so far. But then I got to the one where they claimed that minority men would die disproportionately. When it came time to research it, I just couldn't do it. I swear, I looked at the faces of the dead, and try as I might, I couldn't see black, white, hispanic, asian. I saw the eyes of men and women who had left their families, slept in the mud, saw unspeakable things, and ultimately bled to death in the sand. They never got to see those Iraqis dancing in Baghdad. they did it for them, and they did it for me.
They have no race that I can see. Pvt Lynch had it right: They are US soldiers, too. That's all I can see.
