Jim Mik saying that Saddam intended to hold off the troops as long as he could and then sue for peace, but the Americans got there faster than he thought.

Watching the Fox coverage, transfixed.
First impulse - let the people pull down the statue with their bare hands - don't use weapons on it. Give them something else to remember about this marvelous day in the history of Iraq.
