They aren't seeing this. AJ left town and I just heard that the lead in the Arab world is that the fighting continues and is ferocious.
But propaganda only goes so far. They know we aren't evil bastards in Afghanistan. Soon (already) they know we aren't evil bastards in Iraq.
what do we all think is the likely hood that the Syrian and Iranian people in particular might, just might ask the Americans to bring those regimes down like we are seeing Saddam's in front of our very eyes.
That's been the problem all along. Don't allow yourself to be misdirected. It isn't really the 'arab street' that opposes us, they only know what they're allowed to see. It is the tyrannical regimes all over the region that are shivering in their boots and trying to figure out how to attack us. The MO has been to blame America for everything to deflect attention from their own failings.
