they wouldn't join Saddam's Lion Club. It is a primer for the fedayeen. the are forced into arms at age 6, if they or parent's refuse they go to jail. some kids had been in jail for 5 years.

The children were in prison because they wouldn't join a Baath party youth group. Some were in prison as long as 5 years.
