This report is BS. How do they know?

There is, and I read the article. It only quotes Brit intelligence. It's unlikely they had boots on the ground monitoring the building that we blooed up. The strong rumor is that Delta was assigned to kill him, and they were the SpecOps that confirmed that he was in the building. CIA so far is euphoric, according to the reports. I believe us before I believe the Brits here. Keep in mind, too, that the papers that are reporting this (the Guardian and the Independent) are very anti-war.

The Washington Times has a contrary story this a.m..... CIA thinks we got him.

Reports now surfacing that Saddam is NOT dead The Coalition never said he WAS dead. We're all just speculating and hoping. But there haven't been any hard news reports that he is dead. Only that he went in, and he didn't come out.
My bet is he's stuck in a bunker somewhere with all the exits bombed closed, and he's singing to himself:
"Nobody likes me, everybody hates me,
I think I'll go eat worms.
Those long slim slimy ones,
short fat juicy ones,
itsy bitsy fuzzy wuzzy worms."
