Fledermaus...I agree with you. I would love to see an in-depth book about the strategy and the decisions mae on many levels. You know they were juggling, improvising, and jury-rigging things to get the plan accomplished. It will be a fascinating story.

Fox - Ollie says that a Somali tried to blow Marines up at a checkpoint with a grenade, but he dropped the grenade early, it rolled inside his pantleg, and he blew himself up without hurting one Marine. He saw two Ba'ath party members hanging from lamp posts.

Which was proven a bad idea in Yemen when the USS Cole was attacked. Clintoon's thugs set up deals to fuel up in port to "save money" when we used to fuel those ships at sea. What idiots. My brother just retired from 20 years in the Air Force. He's seen it all. The horror stories during the Clinton years are awful. The number of good men that just quit. He even told me Clinton wouldn't survive a visit to his base. They hated that man.
