Right now I'm having a BLAST reading the DUmmy Forum. Their mood is both GLUM and OUT of touch with reality. Here is an especially hilarious DUmmy POST:

Since when do we destroy art? Even if it is of Sadam? I've been watching the news, and i've noticed the U.S. marines devoting a lot of their time to knocking down statues of Sadam and the ba'ath party. I can't help but wonder if this is some kind of ethnic clensing, I mean we are going to try to put a democracy into their government, and since their society, their culture is one based around dictatorships, are we trying to make them forget their Iraqis, and turn them into Americans?

I for one think that is exactly what we're doing. Especially wtih a president that is so infatuated with manifest destiny and imperialism, and all that other stuff.

I, also think it is wrong. We have no right to tell these people to adopt our society. We are forcing it on them. I just hope we don't try to force democracy on them in the same fashion, because if we do it will blow up in our faces!!

Now if only the GOP in the Senate had the guts of the military and would stick to the "battle plan" and get that economic program inacted.

Yes, I am a monthly donor too. What is amazing to me, is that ALL of this is available. And is still available even if you DON'T donate. And yet, no amount is too small to be donated. Not like some 'pay for service' website that charges a monthly fee...although I would gladly pay it if it were.
