I LOVE Dr. Bob!

I've seen him ask groups of kids who they like--Saddam Hussein or George Bush. The kids start chanting "George Bush" and you can see Dr. Bob is well pleased.

He is so ticked at what he's been seeing in Iraq done to the innocent. A righteous indignation that is truly great to see.

I think 'Hell'en asked if we were going to be bringing back, to the United States, some of the civilians who have been injured as a result of our bombs....including the children, so they could be cared for.

I think Ari responded that we are already currently treating many Iraqi civilians in DoD medical facilities and that we will continue to do so.

had a friend mention that Vietnam syndrome is officially over in the Pentagon. I said it was gone after Panama and Libya. And as I look at the cheering crowds I have to wonder what a little more competency and technology might have done at the time to have cheering troops in Havana and Hanoi and have avoided decades of fear for those poor people. Bush - "We will accept no outcome but total victory" Can you imagine Kennedy saying that about Fidel or Johnson/Nixon that (and following through) about Nam. We always had the means, just not the leadership.
