"Anyone else suspicious that the fire at the Finance Ministry was deliberately set by Saddamites to destroy a paper trail?"
That was my first thought. Hey, has anyone checked under the bed at the French Embassy to see if Saddam or Baghdad Bob are hiding there?

American troops should never have to buy their own beer again. I can't describe the debt freedom loving people of the world owe the troops involved in this. May God hold dear those US & British troops who lost their lives for this moment.

It's odd. My father spend his entire adult life in the service of his country. First in the Navy and then with the DOD. His country came first. If it weren't for men and women like him, who knows what we would be speaking this month. I am very much pro-US Military.
Men and women in the Military give themselves for us anywhere they are called to do so. Just ordinary men and women. They are the Heros. Not the Hollyweird ilk, not the athletes, not the political shills. The men and women in uniform. May God bless them all.

(Close the BORDERS and the CHECKBOOK!! (schpelin iz opshenul))
I just wanted to take a minute to remember this. "Angie" called in to the Don and Roma radio show on WLS-AM in Chicago after an "peace" protester sent them an e-mail saying that they hoped Don and Roma's son (who is in the military) would come home in a body bag...
Angie: Yes...hi...I love listening to your show -- I listen to it all the time. I just want to say that I was born in Iraq and I left Iraq when I was 17 and I came to a country that accepted me for who I am. Iraq never accepted me because of my religion I was a second hand citizen over there because I was Christian. Iraq people are dead. Bush in not kill'en Iraqi people or our troops are not killing Iraqi children -- saddam killed them a long time ago and thank god for Bush.F finally there is a man who can speak for Iraqi children. I know a lot of people will die and that is sad but Iraqi people ARE DEAD. You just don't how bad it is living under that regime. So for those people -- for those Americans who are IGNORANT about what is going on in Iraq please understand Iraqi people are dead; they have no voice; we cannot speak their mind; we cannot practice our religion and this is the only country THANK GOD FOR AMERICA. You just don't know - you should appreciate this country -- you just don't know how lucky you are and you know I am a citizen and I am a proud to be an American. (starts to cry) And shame on those Americans that talk like that about our troops. Shame on them -- Bush never killed anybody -- saddam been killing all these children. I cannot speak my mind because if I speak my mind (starts to really cry) he will cut tongue over there; he will rape our children in front of our eyes; you just don't know how bad it is. SO for those ignorant people PLEASE SHUT UP. Ok -- thats all I have to say. I so proud -- so proud to be an American. Thank you for listening.

Whether they see this footage in Iran and elsewhere or not, they WILL hear of it. This is going to be a thing of legend - it will grow and grow greater with the years. No one will need to see it... there is plenty of emotional value simply in the spoken words and facts of this day, and the past period of time engineered by the US, Britain, the "coalition" and the Iraqi people themselves.
Glory, Glory, Hallelulia !!!!!

Good Morning all. Woke up this morning (in office chair again ! ) to some mighty fine coverage. It's hard to imagine how the spineless French, Belgians, Germans and all the alphabet media are realizing, as we speak, just how base they really are.
That group of individuals with the room temperature I.Q. commonly referred to as the ' arab street ' has got to be feeling pretty damned stupid viewing coverage this morning. Ya think they're smart enough to realize they've been lied to a lot by their media about America? Ummmm, I'm not sure. Might take another few dozen more doses of reality.

Can you please edit the "Saddam statue down" photo to where he's holding a U.N. and/or French flag in his hand?

RK, Sky's Ian Woods at the Pentagon grinning from ear to ear. As he said, "Can't wait to hear what Donald Rumsfeld will have to say," there was this glimmer in his eyes. I love this guy!
