California RAT Legislature Runs Amok --- Refuses to Pass Resolution Supporting the Troops

Those of us in California enjoy wonderful weather and other amenities. From Upland, I can get to both the beach and the ski slopes within an hour.
Unfortunately, we have to accept the good with the bad. No, it's worse than bad. It is horrific.
California is completely controlled by RATS --- every statewide elected office and both houses of the legislature. And even worse, the RAT party is controlled by the far leftist whackjobs of their party.
John Campbell is one of the good guys in California. He is a Republican assemblyman who represents the 70th district, which includes Irvine and Newport Beach.
Campbell was just on the Al Rantel show explaining what the leftist whackjobs did in the California legislature. It may make your blood boil.
Campbell fought for the legislature to pass a resolution to support our troops and the commander in chief. The resolution was the exact one which passed the U.S. Senate by a vote of 99-0 (one member was not present). Even Ted Kennedy, Tommy Daschle and Robert Byrd voted for it.
But the RATS in California said no. They would not pass such a resolution. Instead, they had a competing resolution. The California RATS wanted to show their support of the troops with a resolution calling for the war to end and for them to be brought home.
California has shown clearly what happens when the RATS get too much mower. They have destroyed the budget. They have overtaxed. They have overregulated. They are causing business to flee the state. California is an absolute mess. Perhaps the best thing that can happen is that 9.5 earthquake that drops it into the ocean. Beachfront Arizona property, anyone?
For those in California, go to www.davisrecall.com and do what you need to do.
Post Script: The RATS did take time to pass a very important resolution. They honored a woman who was once a man before she had her plumbing removed.

And don't forget that California is one of the worst anti-Gun Rights (and thus pro-criminal) states in the Republic. Another reason to not live there.

That is par for the course for the democrats anywhere, particularly in Vermont and California.

Schizophrenics could say that about their bizarre thought patterns too.

Understand where you're coming from. RATS controlled both houses of the WA legislature and the governor's house. These RATS tore our economy up and we have a deficit of over $2 billion. However, in November, the Senate turned Republican. Hopefully, in 2004 we can retain the Senate and grab the House and/or the governorship. Meanwhile, the Repubs passed a budget for no new spending and actually doing some cutting. And the RATS and special interest groups are howling in pain.

This is why we are leaving California for Indiana. The RATS have destroyed the great state of Ronald Reagan.
Well, the illegals, victocrats, and guilty-white-liberals can have the state. Between another riot and reconquista, I want my family to grow up in America, not in this socialist experiment.

I just beat you guys out!! I am officially a South Dakota resident (NO State Income Tax) finishing up my school in Ames, Iowa. You would not believe what it is like living in a free state again. Yeah, there are some democrats around, but they are nothing like the losers running California into the ground. My only problem is, how do you show these people what true democratic leadership is up to? I believe they really are a bunch of Socialists at best, Communists at worst.

You have hurricanes of hot Rat air now.

What possible difference could a resolution of support make now? Who cares what they think in Quebec California?

To: gcruse
It wouldn't have made a difference. The refusal, however, showed all you need to know about the RAT legislature.
