There is some speculation the chatter was part of a counter-intelligence operation to see if Iraq's leaders were being listened to. If that were the case, their command and control communications have gone silent because the bombing proved they were compromised. I wonder why the Pentagon released the information about the Jaguar tracking system unless 1) they were sure they got SH or 2) they wanted to force SH to stop all communication or to use other means of communication--like hard wired lines (which we have tapped.

We were talking about that last night. What did they reveal, other than a communication system called Jaguar was tapped. From reports and knowing how technology advances, it seems as if this is an outdated sophisticated telecommunications system manufactured in England, probably something an American 6th grader could tap into.
