Hazel! and thanks for the BD wishes.
Don't tell but not long ago I was cleaning the computer screen and noticed the eye-saver changes most colors.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I had a good one; highlighted by an argument with a lib at lunch.

That's what the President said at the Press Conference today. Accept he added water to the list!! He did not elaborate until the press pushed him.

I saw the picture of you and your husband meeting Barbara Bush on FR's Finest. When I first saw it, I thought you were Laura Bush!

I agree with you!! We were caught in the ice storm that left us and many many others, without power since Friday night!! Just came back on today, and I really missed the Dose, so now I will have to stay up and catch up, instead of cleaning out the stinky freezer!! Oh well. Can't put it off any longer, if I want the garbage to go out in the am!! Great photos, Rintense.

Eat lots of cake and get fat!!!!I did!
I was late getting on tonight because I was on the phone. Dubya called to wish me a happy birthday. Again. I kept telling him I needed to go but he had to tell me all about his trip.
He had told Tony it was my birthday and he had to pass along Tony's birthday wishes.
Then Laura found out he was talking to me and she got on the phone to wish me a happy birthday. She had a thousand questions about what's going on in Texas.
Then Barney...and Spot...
I thought I'd never get off the phone!

This is from the "Operation Iraqi Freedom Situation Room" thread tonite .. kinda says a mouthful, and worth seeing again:
-----------
"Wish You Were Here"
For all the free people that still protest.
You're welcome. We protect you and you are protected by the best.
Your voice is strong and loud,
but who will fight for you? No one standing in your crowd.
We are your fathers, brothers, and sons,
wearing the boots and carrying guns.
We are the ones that leave all we own,
to make sure your future is carved in stone.
We are the ones who fight and die,
We might not be able to save the world, Well, at least we try.
We walked the paths to where we are at
and we want no choice other than that.
So when you rally your group to complain,
take a look in the back of your brain.
In order for that flag you love to fly
wars must be fought and young men must die.
We came here to fight for the ones we hold dear.
If that's not respected, we would rather stay here.
So please stop yelling, put down your signs,
and pray for those behind enemy lines.
When the conflict is over and all is well,
be thankful that we chose to go through hell.

Looking at those pics with the kids and the soldiers, you gotta think our soldiers are a really impressive sight to them, all that cool gear and stuff. Plus, it seems our soldiers are so much larger than most Iraqis. Not to mention the fact that our soldiers are heroes and are cloaked with honor.

Good evening. Wonderful first picture, rintense. Our President may have the world on his shoulders, but it's held up by God...His yoke is easy and His burden light.
