Thank you, ohio. I admire your drawings! I can't seem to do pen and ink drawings - nor charcoal - I use a mechanical pencil with soft lead, and smudge a lot with my finger, as well as using the eraser a LOT! (To get rid of mistakes AND to highlight.)

I've wondered how you get that light skin tone.....I just leave the light parts of the face white, but you have such a lovely light tone to it.

Do you use a light mechanical pencil for that?

I have drawing pencils now that are of graded darkness, and they copy better to the Internet than the straight regular pencil (#2 lead....just like you use on those nasty big tests!) I've always used in the past.
