Hmmm, How about the Hebron Hills? How about Judea? Bethlehem? (Means house of bread in Hebrew).

How is that Israeli land? When did Israel ever govern any of it with a civil administration within the past 2000 years? And last I checked, those areas are stil under defacto occupation. The IDF comes and goes into them at will to destroy the nests of terrorists it finds.

How is that Israeli land?!

When Israel won it in a defensive war in the 1960's. It was only in the Arabs hands because the Arabs won in in an offensive war in the 1940's, after trading their rights to the land for Jordan, and then trying to get what they could not get by diplomacy, in war.

When did Israel ever govern any of it with a civil administration within the past 2000 years?

Since 1968 Israel has indeed governed it. A good portion of it is even owned by purchase from the Arab occupants. Now, last I heard, when the United States took California from Mexico in a defensive war, and purchased the land from the Mexicans those deeds were considered valid, and last I heard, California was considered part of the United States, at least north of the border.

In fact, for the last 10,000 years of human history that has been how it worked, until the UN came up with new rules for Jews.

Now if the UN is a representative of the world, tell me why, in Israel, there are NO Jews working there. All truck drivers, office workers, mechanics, etc, etc are all Arabs. Don't you find it more than a bit curious that in a sovereign nation, Israel, who has no seat in the UN even though much tinier Arab groups do, that there are NO Jews working there? Just by random chance one would think one or two Jews out of the thousands of UN personnel hired locally would have gotten a job. Unless of course the UN is a front for the United Arab League and dictators everywhere and hires not by qualification but by race or creed.

And last I checked, those areas are stil under defacto occupation. The IDF comes and goes into them at will to destroy the nests of terrorists it finds.

You have not checked, not a bit. There are three types of land in the Hebron (named for the Hebrews), Judean (named for the Jews), and Samaria (named for the Jewish sect the Samarians). Area A, Jewish owned and controlled, Arab B Arab occupation and Jewish control, and Area C Arab occupation and control. (or is that CBA, I forget)

Know why I use the word occupied? Because that is what the various Arabs from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia are doing. They are occupying Israel. Plain as the nose on your face. They align themselves under the banner of the PLO, which is a terrorist organization. Most of them do not own the land they live on, and came from outside the borders SINCE the 1948 declaration of Israel's independence.

When talking to liberals under the great delusion, you have to define the language. It is a sign of a cult you know, but that is another thread...

My definition of occupation is land taken from the rightful owners, built upon without deeds, and defended by force against the rightful owners by law. But to the Liberals Hebron Hills is a "settlement". The Jews own the land, having owned it for 4000 years and having lived on it for all that time baring once being run out of their homes and returning within 20 years to reclaim it because of a riot by the Arabs that killed many in their homes. The Jews, not stopping with ownership that traces continuously long before Mohammad was a sparkle in his mommy’s eyes, got the land recognized by treaty with the PLO in trade for other land concessions. So the land is twice theirs, once by ownership, twice by treaty. That is the land the Arabs, who have now built a huge city around, without ownership, is currently calling a "settlement" and attacking almost nightly.

I don't know about you, but if someone stole my car, then sold it to me in trade for hard cash, then stole it back, I would not say, hey, its your car... But that is the bill of goods you are trying to sell.
